With over three decades of industry experience, Bill is known for his client-first approach, deep market knowledge, and commitment to helping people take the “best step” in buying, selling, or managing property. Bill is licensed and received formal training in all facets of real estate including residential, property management, commercial, land development, rural and business sales.

Bashir Oladokun

Bashir is a RECA-licensed Residential Property Manager with extensive property management experience in Dubai and Edmonton. He oversees residential properties across Edmonton, leading daily operations and developing leasing strategies that reduce vacancies, improve tenant retention, and protect property values.
His international experience and strong knowledge of Edmonton's rental market enable him to provide property owners with practical advice, responsive service, and proactive management.

Bill Carstairs, broker and founder of Best Step Real Estate Services, is a designated accountant with a career spanning over three decades in real estate. Licensed in all areas of real estate since 1998, Bill is an expert in commercial, rural, asset, and property management. His leadership includes serving as CFO of the Alberta College of Paramedics, General Manager of the Communities Division at Christenson Developments Ltd., and Vice President of Finance and Operations for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, overseeing financial health and operations.
